History
Founded on the principles of honesty and integrity in 1988, Louisiana Scrap Metal Recycling was formed and began as a small recycling operation at a converted gas station in Lafayette, Louisiana. Now with two locations, one in Lafayette and one in Port Allen, Louisiana Scrap Metal Recycling's holdings consists of about 50 acres of property, 50,000 square feet of warehouse space, a fleet of trucks and accompanying scrap metal support trailers and containers, new state of the art material handling machines, mobile shears, and multiple high capacity nonferrous balers.
